CULINARY PROFILE 
Within the past few years Brend Hotels have been working extremely hard in launching our culinary standards, and in particular enhancing our growing reputation within the culinary industry. In April 2008 Dez Turland who had previously been Head Chef at the Royal Duchy Hotel in Falmouth Cornwall, was appointed Brend Hotels Group Development Chef.Dez has always been passionate about food as well as dedicated and committed to the industry we are in. With the knowledge and credibility he has gained, Brend Hotels are now raising the awareness about our excellence within the hospitality and catering industry. Our policy at Brend Hotels has always been the same important issues, those being the commitment to working with the best local and regional suppliers, who share our same visions, values, passion and ideas in developing the South West as the number one destination for visitors and tourists. The South West has a food culture of sheer quality and diversity with one of the best larders in England, and is increasingly becoming a food destination in its own right. By supporting the farmers, fishermen, producers and growers of the South West the availability of the produce will become more abundant and more economical, in turn promoting a more ethical means of food supply. Our food policy has always been to offer our clientele the very best culinary standards, within all our establishments. More often than not we try to insure we use only the best quality produce available, allowing our chefs the freedom to use their culinary skills and knowledge to create a dinning experience for you all to enjoy.
